 2009 Counterbalance  CHARDONNAY  Columbia Valley AVA   $15

Crisp notes of green apple, pear, tropical fruits and a lemon zest finish are all enhanced by bright acidity. Un-oaked and aged in neutral barrels for seven months prior to bottling to develop the wine’s complexity and flavor profile.  Enjoy chilled.

100% Sun River Vineyard

ALC 13.2%, pH 3.42, TA 0.73 g/100 ml. 

Name Note:  The Counterbalance is a neighborhood on Queen Anne Hill’s south slope where street cars were once assisted by a counterbalance weight beneath the roadway.

2008 Merlot   Red Mountain AVA   $23

Enticing nose, dark fruit, spices, with nuances of cherries and red berries, along with exquisite mouth feel.  This wine has it all…plus the distinctive tannins of Red Mountain.

100% Hedges North Block Vineyard

ALC 14.2%, pH 3.62, TA 0.60 g/100 ml.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain AVA   $23

Well balanced select vineyard Cabernet.  Black fruit, ruby color, peppery nose, with spicy notes on the palate - Enjoy from beginning swirl to a firm, long finish.  Aged in French oak.

Kiona Vineyards:  90% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Cabernet Franc

ALC 14.2%, pH 3.65, TA 0.65 g/100 ml.

2008 Syrah   Red Mountain AVA   $27

A luscious wine – peppery as well as intensely smooth.  Discover distinctive Red Mountain structure, balanced tannins, with rich, round, dark fruit flavors and a lingering finish.  Aged in French oak.

100% Ranch at the End of the Road Vineyard

 ALC 15.2%, pH 3.60, TA 0.57 g/100 ml.

2008 Three Towers Red Mountain AVA  $25

Three Towers is a bold Bordeaux style blend.  The wine’s intriguing nose, tannin structure, and lasting finish reflect the complexity and structure of wine made from Red Mountain fruit.  This is our first blend and we are very excited about this wine.

66% Cabernet - 17% Cab Franc - 17% Merlot

Red Mountain fruit:  Hedges (Merlot) and Kiona Vineyards.

                   ALC 14.6%, pH 3.7, TA 0.63 g/100 ml.
